- One of the links on my website has broken and I’ve not managed to fix it yet.
- When we sell this house we’re living in at the moment, we’re moving into a temporary rental place before we move into the next adventure house. The representative of the rental property I viewed this week didn’t want to show me a flat because it was a ‘three person flat’ and we have four people (and one on the way). But I viewed it anyway and it’s very much bigger than the minimum size I would be happy living in.
- It was so sunny that I climbed out of the kids bedroom window onto the roof of our kitchen and put a spare bed sheet over our skylight. Surprisingly this worked well to block the bulk of the direct sunlight. Bedsheet Sunshade could be a good my new synth group name.
- After two weeks of this weather, we’ve finally invested in more fans, and they have drastically increased our quality of life.
- Our smallest kid decided to cut her hair short. I’ve always wanted her to be seen a bit more like a wild child with excessively long hair. But she was very pleased after going a lot shorter, visibly bouncing out of the hairdresser because her head was much lighter.
- The eldest and I spent an hour this week building a cardboard tournament map for the Womens Euro 2025 tournament and organising a sweepstake for one side of our extended family. The adults get one team each, the kids get two teams.
- Finsbury park summer time gigs have started again. Meaning no one can run a full loop of the park due to the huge depressing wall taking up most of the grassed area. But also that our summer evenings in the garden are soundtracked by The Stereophonics or Fontaines DC. Tonight though, tonight Slayer are playing…
