• The eldest and youngest went out with lizzy to watch wicked 2. So me and the middlest watched Sing and it was awful. Such incredibly questionable morals. Small narcisssistic koala forces multiple people to perform what they dont want to for free. With the promise of money that doesnt exist. To save his own skin. 0/5 stars.
  • Finished Ken liu’s paper menagerie. Not for the faint of heart. Incredible, but I couldn’t recommend to friends. One of the stories had me lay in the dark, way past when I should have gone to sleep, silently weeping.
  • While Liz attended a comedy-night/pub-quiz, I did my first parent-all-3-kids-on-my-own evening. I thought it had gone well but the eldest reviewed the evening to lizzy and said “the baby was crying all night”. It could well have gone better…
  • Under the duvet where I was sat was hidden a pack of baby wipes. The weight of me sitting on them had forced out all the water which seeped into my side of the bed and soaked the duvet, mattress and everything else.
  • Ended the week shoving off to Scarborough for a family birthday celebration. Top notch arcades, beach, seafood and cliff lifts. Scarborough really missed the chance to call them ‘clifts’, but I’m not sure how popular portmanteaus were in Victorian England.
