• Writing weeknotes while in the middle of living-room chaos. I’ve taken the radiators off (Total DIY-Dad) to paint behind them. It’s a job that’s only taken 1.5 years to start. Will today be the day I complete it?

• I felt like inspector clouseau this week as I got a test device delivered to work, but the person who signed for it wasn’t someone anyone in our office recognised. A Gant sweatshirt, red nail polish, sneakers. After talking to all the nearby offices, the front desk, security team, we couldn’t work out who had collected it.
• The eldest got a signed copy of the new Skandar, and I can’t wait to read it.
• The youngest was player-of-the-day in footie for the second week in a row.
• The end of the Mountain Bike season is usually capped with Red-Bull’s insane competition “Rampage”. Where people who should know better launch themselves off cliffs in the hope of winning cash. This year was the first time a Womens competition has been run alongside the Mens and it was so compelling to see after 3+ years of investment from Red Bull. The youngest and I watched a lot of it together and she was not phased.
