- A couple weeks ago we quickly mocked up (using an actual ruler and some coloured felt pens) a large physical Christmas Calendar to stick on the kitchen door. It’s our 2025 Life Hack. I’m much less stressed about Christmas organisation when everything is in large format physically displayed in almost everyone’s eye-line.
- Each year we print little rounded-square business cards with pics of the kids on to put in Christmas cards we send (some family members have kept all eight editions). Unfortunately this year I forgot to check the “Round the corners” checkbox on Printed.com and I spent a good hour manually rounding the corners of the square cards that got delivered.
- Obviously its the official festive season and both kids have caught the official fesitive illness this week. The littlest complaining of being “Hurty all over” while rolling around on the classroom carpet. The eldest fainting at a particularly intense part of the school christmas fair.
- Festive year-end party day was intense. Liz and my parties fell on the same day, which also was the same day as the eldest’s christmas performance. Busuu’s christmas event was an all-day affair in which I presented a project to the whole company (nerve-racking!) and organised a tourist-route, end-of-year run for the Busuu-Active crew, many of whom had come to London from the Madrid office to celebrate.
