• We live car free which means we’re on first name terms with Jose, our main man at the hertz rental place in Kings Cross. I chatted briefly before we picked up this rental about their competitors having moved their google map pin. But I quickly realised as I tried to return the car how bad this is for a rental place. Google telling me I’d arrived when I was 7-minutes drive away. Your service is only as good as the data you use.
  • The littlest has her first two tooths! Twoths that are now being used to gnaw at everything she grasps.
  • Me: “When I was a kid I never moved house. Your Granny still lives in the house I lived in when I was a kid.” Middle-kid: “is it because she drew on the walls?”
  • My back is still ruined. Daily yoga is helping. Yoga with Tim. If anyone has Yoga youtube recommends, please let me know.
  • Lizzy went to the north while I fielded the older two kids for a bit this week. I did a classic chill-dad evening where we just went to the pizza pub for tea then ate ice cream/cookie sandwiches for pud. We also did a lot of yoga.
  • I was quite excited about Hoppers after seeing the trailer. There were some great moments, (especially the game-of-thrones style killing-off of a main-character) but it did feel like a lot of the “Laughs” were shown in the trailer. Also, from halfway through it just became a bit manic with so much peril. Directors no longer have any chill.
  • Picturehouse in Finsbury park showed 24 minutes of adverts before the film, at which the kids almost walked out.
