• Last weeks weeknotes were late and these ones are too.
• The littlest started school (pre-school) and took in a Bluey sticker for the teacher, who put our daughters best interests first and wore it proudly all day.
• Lizzy’s mum came to help us out with pre-school “onboarding” which the littlest one decided was too slow. But, reader, it was not too slow. The tiny kid being super tired all week.
• Went for a fancy meal with Lizzy because I wanted to eat at Manteca (and obviously spend time with Lizzy). Brown crab cacio e pepe is the fancy-take-on-a-favourite that my stomach has been waiting for.
• It’s the end of summer, and we know what that means, its the welcome return of football training! The littlest super excited at being able to play a “match” and even more excited at wearing a bib! The big one’s training is now so rough that I can’t stay in the sports hall to watch for fear of getting hit in the face by flying footballs.
