- The 9th birthday went well, with only a minor hitch. Us having created the illusion of a tradition where every family member that celebrates a birthday gets a metallic helium balloon that states their age. And us only remembering this the day before the birthday, meaning frantic texts to our friends tthat then made an improptu trip to the local party shop for us. Great friends.
- BusuuActive the work run-club got properly active this week, two lunch runs of very rapid pace. Making the most of the mostly positive climate we’ve been having.
- The week crescendo’d with a trip to the Walthamstow Clip’n’climb for our eldest’s 9th Birthday Party. Two day’s before this trip our eldest severly sprained her thumb playing “Cat-fights” with her friends (supposably something out of the Warriors series). Luckily, a brave kid, plenty of rest and a lot of “nurofen for kids” meant that by the time climbing rolled around, she was able to make enough of a claw-hand to grip the climbing walls.
- Not to self, go to Interesting conference next year.
